KALISTA has partnered with the Surabaya City Government to conduct trials on electric vehicles, marking a significant step towards environmentally friendly transportation in Indonesia. With an initial allocation of Rp. 40 billion, the Surabaya government aims to procure microbus and medium-sized electric vehicles. KALISTA offers comprehensive solutions for the transition to electric vehicles, providing operational guarantees and optimal financial solutions. This collaboration aligns with Indika Energy’s commitment to clean energy and sustainability, reflecting a broader shift away from the coal sector.
Trial Information
In the collaborative trial between KALISTA and the Surabaya City Government, a range of medium and large electric buses from various brands have been deployed. These include models such as SAG 6, SAG 7, SAG 12, Zhongtong 12, Zhongtong 6, DFSK, and Foxtron. With a total of 7 (seven) units, this initiative represents a significant step towards introducing eco-friendly transportation solutions in Surabaya.

This electric vehicle trial will be the initial step in transitioning to electric vehicle use by the Surabaya City Government. We hope that the collaboration with KALISTA will continue so that the use of electric vehicles in Surabaya becomes more widespread and adopted by the community.
