A strategic collaboration to develop Indonesia’s commercial electric vehicle ecosystem

Cikarang, September 26, 2025 – PT SGMW Sales Indonesia (Wuling Motors) and KALISTA today held a strategic partnership signing ceremony between Wuling Mitra EV and KALISTA. In this ceremony, both parties signed a strategic agreement covering the provision and after-sales services of Wuling Mitra EV commercial electric vehicles. This signing marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration to deliver reliable, eco-friendly mobility solutions for various business sectors in Indonesia while expanding the adoption of commercial EVs.

“We welcome this strategic collaboration with KALISTA through today’s signing. Mitra EV is Wuling’s first commercial EV in Indonesia, dedicated to supporting business operations with efficiency, functionality, and modernity. We hope this step will strengthen the commercial EV ecosystem while accelerating the transition to green mobility,” said Kharismawan Awangga, Sales Operation Director of Wuling Motors.

As a commercial EV, Mitra EV is designed with multifunctional, efficient, and modern advantages. The minibus and blind van variants provide high flexibility for diverse business needs, ranging from logistics transportation, distribution services, to passenger mobility. With range options of 300 km and 400 km, along with practical features for daily operations, Mitra EV becomes a reliable, cost-effective, and business-ready partner.

In this strategic partnership, Wuling and KALISTA agreed on several key points including the provision of Mitra EV units, maintenance services based on a Service Level Agreement (SLA), guaranteed spare parts availability, as well as warranty coverage for units and related components. This agreement also includes operational risk mitigation and a commitment to sustainable supply to support KALISTA’s long-term commitments with its customers.

“Collaboration with Wuling reinforces KALISTA’s commitment to accelerating EV adoption in the logistics sector. Mitra EV has proven its reliability after an 11-day trial under real operational conditions, recording 49 trips with an energy efficiency of 0.14 kWh/km, or 1 kWh for 7 km. The results showed up to 69% energy cost savings compared to ICE vehicles. With this performance, we are confident in encouraging more businesses to transition to environmentally friendly logistics solutions,” said Yoga Adiwinarto, Business Development Director of KALISTA.

KALISTA is a comprehensive commercial EV ecosystem provider offering end-to-end solutions and actively serving as a catalyst for businesses to transition toward greener and more competitive operations. KALISTA offers attractive schemes, including shifting upfront investment needs into monthly operational costs through long-term leasing. To ensure a smooth EV transition process, KALISTA also guarantees comprehensive after-sales services and maintenance, supported by Wuling.

Through this strategic partnership signing, Wuling and KALISTA reaffirm their commitment to jointly drive the development of commercial EVs in Indonesia. With the presence of Mitra EV supported by complete services, this collaboration is expected to deliver modern, efficient mobility solutions while supporting emission reduction targets in the transportation sector.
